Release: Automatic Lead Assignment & SAML 2.0 Service Provider Configuration
We launched two new features this week:
Automatic Lead Assignment
Automatic Lead Assignment automatically assigns Leads to your channel partners when you import Leads into your PRM via CSV spreadsheet or Salesforce. If you have a large number of Leads to import and know which Partner should receive which Lead, the new automatic Lead assignment feature makes life easier. Available in both the CSV Lead import template and the Channeltivity’s Salesforce Lead Distribution integration, the field allows the automatic assignment of the Lead.
Here’s how it works: When a Lead is imported via CSV or the Salesforce integration and the “Auto-Assign to Partner User Email” field contains the email address of
- an Active Partner User with
- permissions to the Lead Distribution module,
then the Lead is assigned to that User. If either of those two conditions are not met, the Lead remains unassigned. Learn how to automatically assign Lead with Salesforce
SAML Service Provider Configuration
Single Sign-On into Channeltivity with an identity management solution like Okta, Ping Identity, or OneLogin. Channeltivity includes full support for SAML 2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language, an open standard for single sign-on) and can now be configured as a SAML Service Provider to allow Users to log in through any external SAML IdP.
Channeltivity’s SAML SSO supports auto-provisioning, custom attributes and can be easily configured in the Settings using our point and click interface. For a complete walkthrough of the SAML Service Provider configuration process, please see the article How to configure Channeltivity as a SAML 2.0 Service Provider.
